  1. no! t its actually physical in the sense of posting you need leg muscle to post, jumping posistion you are using you stomache to hold urself up theres a lot of work to horseback riding its hard and challenging.. and yah it is pretty expensive, but not if you just pay for lessons i mean i pay 20 for a hour long group lesson  but yes its expensive but people dont ride cause there rich its fun and challenging.

  2. Isn't tennis the gayest sport ever?

  3. Most expensive, yes.  Laziest, no.  If you think it's lazy to ride a horse, I challenge you to actually go take a riding lesson.  Not a trail ride where you're just going to sit on the horse as it walks around.  Go to an english riding barn and take a lesson and tell them that you want to walk, trot, canter, posting trot, two point, and posting trot without your stirrups.  I'll even leave jumping off the list because I don't want you to fall off and break your neck.  The only people who say that you don't get exercise when you ride a horse are people who haven't actually ever ridden a horse.  And no, trail rides or pony rides don't count.  It takes a heck of a lot of leg muscle to make a horse go forward.  It takes back and stomach muscles for you to balance and keep your posture correct.  It takes shoulder and arm muscles to control the horse using the bridle and reins.  You'll be surprised how much your legs hurt the day after you take a real riding lesson.

  4. u ride bareback and tell me that ur legs dont hurt when u get off try going over a jump without stirrups and try and stay on u yes so many muscles when u ride its not even funny. try staying on when the horse u are riding doesnt want to do what u want it to do or when it spooks and tries to take off with you. it is physical and yes it is expensive but it is well worth it.

  5. Yes, agreed.  This would explain why it is dominated by upper class, super rich bigots!
