Is horse racing abusive to horses?

Is horse racing an animal rites issue? I heard a little on bth sides of the argument, but I'm still unsure if its cruel to the horses.

What are your thought , good or bad.

no not really they have a very good life after they retire i own a race horse retire ment home and i ride them. and look after them. And my dad used to be a horse racer
