  1. sometimes

  2. Christopher Reeves who played in the Superman movies was thrown from a horse a parlyzed for the rest of his life. It is dangerous but if you are careful you don't have to get hurt.

  3. I'd say, the older and less experianced you are, the dangerous it is, also it depends on the horse, if the horse is crazy or doesnt like anyone but its owner riding it, don't ride it, because yes thats dangerous, or if your 60 and wanna buy a horse and train it yourself, you must have bought it with half your brain because thats not too smart. but when your between the ages of like about  7 and 30 (ABOUT) things like horse riding, skateboarding, bike tricks, snowboarding, are ok even though you are almost gaurenteed to fall and hurt yourself because your body can heal and handle minor injuries and a few broken bones. in other words, it depends, but its not very dangerous.

  4. Horse ridding ist dangerous unless u have know idea how to RIDE a horse! lol

  5. no. its safe just wear a helmet and do as your teacher of guide or whatever person that is a pro tells you to you will be fine and hold on tight and ask for a nicer hourse next time!

  6. It not you just have to know how to  control them. Be kind. And I sure hope that doesn't happen again.

  7. Of course horse riding is dangerous, this is why riders should always take precautions, such as helmets.  Younger riders, such as yourself should always be supervised with horses, riding alone makes a dangerous sport more so and is a foolish risk to take with your life.  Riding lessons and a good, solid horse or pony with an excellent temperament can lessen the chances of injury, a helmet should always be worn and a safety vest can help keep you from harm.  That being said, even with all the necessary precautions, accidents do happen.  I always encourage my riders to get back on after a fall, walking away can seriously damage their courage and often they won't return to riding, I am not saying that I make them get back on if they are too injured to do so, an injury to ribs or wrist can be painful and require immediate medical attention.  Yes, riding is dangerous, but if you love horses and take care to be as safe as you can there is no reason not to enjoy it, horses are amazing animals and riding is the best way to get to know them.

  8. Am yes it can be. Some people have been badly hurt and even killed form it.

But you are never going to be in complete control of the horse.

You just need to be carful and take all the right procations.

I hope this one fall hasnt put you off riding.

    Its a great sport.

  9. Of course it can be dangerous.  Anytime you mount up on a living breathing animal something can happen.  Thankfully it doesn't usually happen, but even the most bombproof horse can be spooked and make a sudden unexpected move that winds up unseating you.  Anytime you fall off there's a possibility you can be hurt.  But, for the most part, the falls are uneventful or the injuries are minor.  Still, it can happen.  Worst fall I ever had was about 10 years ago, and at that point I'd been riding for 30 years or so, riding my tried and true trail horse.  Sometimes stuff just happens.

  10. The riding part is not dangerous at all, it's the falling off part that's dangerous.
