Due to the world's economic issues, this has a present impact on hotel management, and tourism in general.

This is all cyclical.  Meaning, economic developments will impact this industry.  Once things start to come under control, then it will balance out once again.

So short-term this is a concern.  Long-term things will improve.

Also consider that some markets are performing better than others.

If this is a field your looking at, management in general is hurting now.  Retail, Banking, Hotel you name it.

But things will get better.
