This is extremely impossible.  More likely one gender will all die out, not evolve.

Right now? No. There is no selective advantage of one s*x over the other, reproductively. In fact, as it is now, if only one s*x became present in a population, that population would become extinct.

No and it quite bizarre that someone would suggest it as Jon... alludes to.  It is truly amazing how some "scientists" are so incredibly ignorant of basic biology, whoever apparently even suggested it.

That's not possible. Only if billions of years of evolution there probably will be sexes, not just one. On the other hand, billions of years of evolution, could cause one different s*x.

Not unless this new species we evolve into has a very different means of reproduction like cloning ourselves.  Which would mean no s*x, and where's the fun in that?
