Is hurricane dolly going to hit in port neches, texas?

my uncle lives there and i was worried cuz cnn was saying that its going to be destructive. i'm worried cuz hurricane katrina hit by them last year... thanks.

I live in Beaumont and its near Port Neches.  As of right now, it's not going to hit this direction.

Katrina landed in 2005 in mississippi, a whole state away from texas. the current hurricane may land in texas but its only gonna be a catigory 1 at most katrina landed as a catigory 3 & was the biggest hurricane ever seen. so chill.pluss texas is well prepared

To tell the truth, there's no telling where the hurricane will hit, they could calculate it, but it's not always 100% true. Anyway, it doesn't look like it will hit Neches, Texas from this image:

But don't worry, even if it does hit Neches, the hurricane will have lost most of it's power by then so it would be like a medium-big storm with medium winds so no destruction would occur.

nah it wont....and it was Rita that hit here....and it was a bigger catagory than Katrina....just didn't have any levys break...
