Is i 15 gallon fish tank big enough for a leopard gecko?

I just bought a fish tank. And i wanted to put a gecko in it . Will the 15 gallon tank be big enough. Be sides a gecko what would be one other reptile for the tank. oh i i do not want i Snake.

  1. That would be an okay size for your gecko. I suggest to not put ANY sand in it. Paper towels are easy and quick to clean up. Make sure you have a big enough water bowl for him/her to soak in. He/she will also need a hide of some sort.


  2. Well, 15 gallon is easily enough for one gecko. But 20 Gallon is needed for two. I wouldn't put anything else in, it's just too risky. You can't put other species in because they will fight. Sorry, you might want to upgrade.  

  3. yea thats plenty big enough just look online for what they need (if you dont already know) i would just get another gecko or lizard of some kind  

  4. A 20 gallon is needed for 2 geckos to live together, and even then you risk fighting. They are generally solitary animals, so they are better off without any company in the tank.

    Make sure you do all the research prior to getting the gecko. You will want to avoid sand, and you need to purchase a method of heating as well.
