Is identification proof required to take a room in a resort in mumbai, if i am going with my gf

I have plans to go with my gf to a resort for 1 day. I never went before. She is 17. I want to know if some ID is required to get a room in a resort in mumbai? And can i take the room by some other name? Also is it safe to get in a room of a resort with gf....as we are planning to get physically close. Please help me out, and also tell me the names of few resorts where i can go in mumbai.

The reception will ask for your passports

Just be honest and upfront with them - you'll get more respect that way then by trying to hide it like its something sleazy!!

When I stayed in Mumbai my boyfriend joined me a day later - I was upfront with the receptionist and took a double room and said ''by the way my boyfriend will be joining me tomorrow''

They didn't care...they just wanted to take my money!!! lol
