  1. the same people who do not want a tap dancer

  2. Historically, obviously not. Image has become more important as the world changes and technology and media demands "better looking" more "physically fit" leaders. FDR was in a wheelchair and we've had quite a few obese leaders, and yes - some fairly old ones. I do not know that John McCain's appearance would make him a poor leader. The "look" of leadership, research shows, is tall and slender, true, but the look of leadership is just that- looks and no substance. Would you want a tall slender idiot for a president? Didn't think so.

  3. It's important that the POTUS (President of the US) be a good orator.  Most of the time he spends out in the public eye will be giving speeches.

  4. i thank it will be important

  5. well don't ask the current one that, look at his image. they even made a cartoon about it on national tv. so image is not what it used to be for these people

  6. I think so.
