To travel abroad you just need a valid passport and the visa of that country you wish to go. Nothing else is required such as immigration certificate or else. Immigration and emigration stamp is granted on your passport at the airport itself at the time of departure and on arrival at the visiting country.

Your question is not very clear. However, if you want to travel out of India for any reason you need: passport, ticket and visa from the country you want to visit. In addition, there are certain countries if you want to visit; your Passport has to be stamped as "Emigration Clearance Not Required"- ECNR.
