Is in paris france everithing closed on mondays ?

going this new year's eve on a trip .. and the 31 is monday :)

  1. Everything will be open probably, and even sunday 30th december too, because many people buy their gifts at the last time.

    And many shops are opened in all sundays of december.


  2. No, although Monday is normally closing day for stores, this doesn't apply to touristic and commercial districts and malls. So most stores will be open in Paris on the 31st but they may close a little earlier than usual because it is New Year's eve.

  3. I was there last year -- some street markets are closed on Mondays (no matter what day of the year), but stores will be open.  A few museums are closed on Mondays, but others will be open.  Notre Dame will be open, as will the Eiffel Tower.  Some of the places that are open will close earlier than normal, though.
