  1. You mean "third world". and yes it is.

  2. ummm.... third WORLD country? yes.... 3rd class? only if there were a total of 3 classes........

  3. hmmm.. not sure what you mean to ask by this question :)

There are two different extremes in India actually..

there are big metros like Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore with their high rise buildings, multiplex theatres and malls etc. and there are poor little villages which do not even have electricity.. There are highly educated people like excellent doctors, engineers IT professionals but also high percentage of illeterate people.

But at what level you want to place the country at depends on what area you are looking at.

  4. Yes it comes on 3rd number in the world and very soon it will be Number 1 so you are right its 3rd class.  :)) got the answer or need more......

  5. you mean third WORLD country

    and yes.

  6. its an extremely impoverished country.

    consider it asia's africa.

  7. 3rd clas is removed from raik ways, cities are upgraded to 1se c'*** medical tourism is in thing new airports like hyderabad is worldclass

  8. There is nothing like 3rd class. If you meant, 3rd world, well yes. I completely agree with what DYB said in this answer. But there are a lot of places in the world which are not worth visiting because of the war, unsafe conditions whatever.  India is NOT one of them. If you have heard, the Taj Mahal which is one of the 7 wonders of the world is in Agra, India. If you plan to visit, just be aware as there is so much poverty and people will try to dupe / rob you. Just stay aware of your surroundings and you will be ok.

  9. it is a country with alot of riches and alot of poverty.

  10. In many respects it is....

If you look at the malls in Gurgaon, you would say no. If you look at the squatters living next door the mall, you would say yes.

I think when it comes to things like social security, social infrastructures and networks that WORK and are ENFORCED, india is a third world country for sure.

  11. I'm a hindustani so as far as i can say, it is... BUT, by next year it will possibly be a top world class trading country

  12. What do you mean by the question !!!

Do you know the meaning of the phrase "Third class" !!!!

  13. Still considered third world but not third class.    There is a big difference.

  15. India is a developing country...

We have the 3rd largest army in the world, 4th largest airforce, and the 5th largest navy.. (so, we have the 3rd best defense).

We are 4th in the Aeronautical centre....

In the pool of doctors , engineers and scientist, we are only 1 country behind..

we were the 4th country to reach the moon...

  16. India has long been considered a 3rd WORLD country. This was when USA and Europe, and Japan were 1st WORLD, USSR and their allies were 2nd world countries, and the rest of the world, which was all poor, was the 3rd WORLD!

India is still poor compared to the USA, but they are qite a bit less poor over the last 15 years or so as many USA companies have outsourced there and allowed many Indians to improve their standard of living.

  17. No. No class is a 3rd class country, its the people in any area that can make some place 3rd class.

  18. yes

  19. no its a fast developing country with a large skilled workforce. currently its economy is third largest in purchasing power parity.

  20. It's a 3rd world country.

  21. India is now classified as a SECOND world country because they are starting to industrialize. Russia and China are also second world countries. Third world countries like Africa have not yet industrialized and cannot compete with North American markets. Fourth world countries are countries that have no resources or things that they can compete with in a global market.

  22. I wouldn't call it call third world when I lived there back in the mid eighties it was really poor.  But now it's developing there is a middle class now which there wasn't but yeah I still think they consider it a third world country.

  23. just search it on google
