  1. Liability insurance premiums are going to be the same on a t-top or non t-top. It is not likely the comprehensive and collision premiums will vary from one model to the next but the better question that you should answer is - Why would I buy physical damage insurance on a 13 year old (soon to be 14 year old) car?

Depending upon your State of residence it is usually mandatory to carry liability insurance but it is not cost effective to insure physical damage on a 14 year old car that has low market value.

  2. You will need to talk to local agents.  There are many factors that will determine cost of insurance.  But to answer your original question.  The cost on a T top is probably more as it cost more to produce this car up from and more things that can go wrong.  This would be covered under your Collision or Comp on the policy and you will need to talk to your agent to determine how much the difference is.  Good Luck

  3. T Top is NOT a rating factor, so there would be no difference.

  4. www.esurance.com

You need to shop rates. Insurance companies perform individual risk assessment. No one  here could answer your question as to premium costs.
