i would recommend firefox for xp. IE7 is excellent on vista.

its an upgrade so it has to be it got new features like firefox tabbed browsin n stuff

It's definitely better than IE 6. You can look at their website and see the new features.

Firefox is better than both though. I would bet my life on it.
