Is internet fraud big in Turkey?

It is big everywhere. In Turkey, possibly so. They have internet access everywhere and there are a lot of educated, technical young people in Turkey. They are smart enough to manipulate computer softwear, hardware technology to use it to their advantage. Internet fraud is everywhere!  Not only in Turkey.

I think it must be... sometimes when surfing the internet, etc. I encounter websites that don't allow me access or don't allow me to do certain things.  In one case, a message came up that they detected my IP address and block users from this country because of high amounts of fraud.

However, I don't think Turkey is an epicenter for internet fraud.  Usually Western African countries like Nigeria are the worse places for this.

I dont thinks so. I havent come across any, I do get stupid ad emails from my friends once in a while, I directly mark them as junk.

I haven't encountered any fraud sites but it could be because Turkish internet users (generally speaking) are a bit illiterate on the topic, making them victims to false ads and malware,

but like I said havent encountered any Turkish fraud sites but I don't have any business with any one with a motivation for fraud anyway,
