  1. It's quackery.

  2. Dream interpretation, per se, is not within the realm of Natural Science nor Medicine thus it is not a physiologic discipline nor a discipline which falls under the heading of a "Natural Science."

In the modern era most psychologist & psychiatrists do not employ Freudian principles in "dream analysis" in clinical practice as the abundance of this has been discredited in bona fide scientific literature.

  3. Well, really, they are nearly common sense and our thoughts and sometimes dreams can help us solve a problem and we try to see what the dream means. For example, if you dream you're drowning or you're falling, think about feelings when you fall, it's anxiety, stress and worry, right? Well, that's what the dream could mean, that you're stressed about something in your life and you try to solve it as you've probably haven't realised it until now. Also, dream interpretation could also be the only solution to satisfaction and content that now you know why you're dreaming it, because sometimes we're spooked with our dreams and we need to talk to someone about it, but you can't, because it will sound confusing. I hope you understand what I mean and are not confused. So it's not really physic, nor physiological, I'd say it was self-consciousness or instincts.

  4. It is not psychic, it is social science.

It is part of psychology and study of human behavior.\

Dreams reflect your inner fear, desire.  They happen in your subconscious state.  Interpreting means study of it and if anything involves studies, it is not psychic.

  5. Depends on the style of interpretation.

If you're using symbols and junk like that, psychic or psychobabble.

If you're looking at what caused it in terms of what happened to you that day, how you have been feeling in your waking life in comparison to how you felt in the dream, or what objects appeared in your dream simply because you handled them the day before, it's more of a psychological type thing, if you consider that physiological, which I think you should.

  6. Biblical.  Much of the Bible was written on interpretations of dreams inspired by God.

  7. Myths are the dreams of cultures.

Dreams are the personal myths of individuals.

Dream interpretation is based on individual self-awareness.  Your dream content is based on your hopes and fears, your daily mental activity, your emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs, your unresolved issues -- the sum total of your being.

Know thyself -- and the meaning of your dreams will be revealed to you.
