  1. If you can eliminate any choices, then guess.  Otherwise, leave it blank.  The way SAT scoring works is that you get 1 point for each correct answer, but .25 off for every incorrect.  Thus, random guessing should (in theory) not change your score at all.

Rule of thumb: try and eliminate answers, then guess.

  2. If you can eliminate one or more answers, make an educated guess... you get 1 point for every right answer and lose 1/4 of a point, so you have a good chance.

However, if you're totally clueless, don't just guess randomly... on a lot of tests with penalties, I take too many chances, and that costs me.

  3. Guess, because they do count questions that are missed. Just pick the best answer and you then have at least a 25% chance of getting it right.

  4. def guess if u have no idea cause if u just skip it it will go against u automatically so at least guess but if u don't know it for a sec go back to it but make sure u mark where u didn't know the answer or u may forget!

  5. it depends, if its a short questiuon just guess because it wont waste too much extra time however if its a long question dont guess and just move on to get the marks in other places!

  6. You  should to answer!!!!!! even a  blind guess may prove right.
