Is is ok to put non-shielded speakers next to a projection t.v.? I know with crt tvs you couldn't.?

I have a jvc av-48wp30 projection tv and want to place a sub-woofer behind it.

  1. You should be ok. Most powered sub for home theater systems are shielded.


  2. You shouldn't face any problems with the subwoofer since most of them are shielded. LCD/DLP rear projection TV can be safely kept close to it however make sure that your rear projection is not crt type.
