  1. You cannot get preggers without ovulating. No egg, no baby. I'd see a doctor if you are confident about NOT ovulating. Having an annovulatory cycle once in a while is normal, but not regularly. Having irregular periods makes it a lot harder to track your cycles. I'd begin by purchasing a BBT thermometer ($8 at Walmart) and using a website like fertilityfriend.com or tcoyf.com to track both your bbt and your cm. OPKs are also good for trying to pinpoint when you ovulate. I used a Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor, as well as tracking my bbt and cm, to achieve my positive pregnancy test. :) (my daughter is now 13 months old!)

    Best of luck!

  2. Don't worry about when you ovulate. Irrigular periods should not make any difference and you may ovulate more than once a month. Some women simply take longer than others to get pregnant and if you are really worried about it that can actually decrease your odds. There are many women who get pregnant right after they quit trying or after they adopt so psychology has alot to do with it. If nothing happens in the next couple of months it is time to talk to your doctor and find out if there is a problem. Most doctors won't look into fertility issues untill you have been trying for a year.

  3. no you cant get pregnant without ovulating, and irregular periods could be a problem i.e. predicting when youre going to ovulate, what you can do? idk im not a doctor and i am a guy but maybe your doctor can help you predict or something, and i have seen commercials for this thing that tells you if your ovulating, it looks like a pregnancy test, it is the clearblue digital ovulation test, but there maybe other ones like it out there

  4. You have to ovulate to get pregnant.  After a year, it is advised to see a reproductive expert (check with your regular gyn first).  However, I'm going to assume that you haven't done ANY charting.  There are many sites that host fertility trackers.  Basically, you learn about your personal fertility signs and maximizes your chance of pregnancy.  www.fertilityfriend.com

    www.medhelp.org

    www.mymonthlycycles.com

You take your temperature every morning before waking up, check your cervical mucus (CM) and position, and chart intercourse and symptoms.  It's all explained on the sites, but I STRONGLY urge you to start there.  If for no other reason, this way you can see if you are ovulating or not, and whether you really are having fertility issues.   Good luck!

  5. you don't know when you are ovulating or if you are at all

try a doctor most go to fertility after about 6 months to a year if there is a problem especially if you are over 30
