Is is possible to arrange a wedding blessing in a church in Annecy Haute Savoie France.?

My boyfriend and I used to live and work near Annecy but moved back to the UK. As we are both English and not living in France I know that it is impossible to get married legally in France. However, if we were to get married in the UK first I know we could then have a wedding blessing ceremony in France. Could this take place in a church (we are both christians) and if so could someone recommend a church in Annecy?

if you're married in a church and just want a blessing, i wouldn't imagine there'd be much of a problem

it would however depend on the clergy at the church - and the best way of finding out is to get in touch with local churches (i assume you speak french?)

also, are you catholic or cofe? i'd imagine that would be important in organizing something like this - catholics are not open to other variations of christianity
