and studying for pre-med?

I know for pre-med, if you want to go to medical school, you have to fulfill all the requirements for pre-med and I know you can major in anything you want to, but would that look bad to med schools to major in english and creative writing? I really love writing and english, so I'd rather major in that just in case med school doesn't work out.

  1. Hi, just go to http://snipurl.com/3fvr7 ....

They've got highly useful info to help you out making the kind of  educational decisions that seem to be on your mind. Also consider these important questions and points - Who are you? You need to examine yourself and your reasons for going to college before you start your search. Why, really, are you going? What are your abilities and strengths? A name-brand college will not guarantee your success. You will likely find that success in life has less to do with the choice of college than with the experiences and opportunities encountered while in college, coupled with personal qualities and traits. Employers and good schools are looking for outstanding skills and experience, not college pedigree. With an online degree you can get better educated yet not have to leave your job or home during tight economic times Does this help?

  2. depends on the scoo

  3. It really depends on the med school. I do understand what you are saying about having a plan to fall back on: med school is VERY competitive.

You may want to speak with a pre-med adviser at your college. He or she will hopefully a) be able to give you a clear answer on your English major and b) advise you on which classes to take to prepare for your MCAT's.

    Good luck!
