For years I had spells in which I would break out in a cold sweat, and my heart would feel like it was working very hard and slow to keep going, this would last a few minutes then stop. Shortly after my c section I experienced the worst spell I had ever had..it started as it always did, I layed down as usual and all the sudden I could feel something move thru my heart, up my left side thru my neck, jaw and into my left temple, at that point the feeling stopped. I was left with my jaws being clinched and my left arm hurting..I called the doctor , they said it was probably stress...OMG, I called a heart doctor and had an ekg done but with nothing to compare to he said he could not tell much. THe good news is I ha vent had another spell since then, but sometime I wonder if whatever was moving clot? is stuck in my head now..anyone ever heard of this>

  1. Your probably stressed out.  You would not feel a clot move thru your jaw an into your temple.  People who have clots on the move usually die before they get past the pulmonary vessels.  They turn blue and suffocate to death.

  2. YES blood clots can be felt.

i have thrombic angiitis obliterans and mostly clots feel like worms crawling down through my legs and arms(thrombus). sometimes a few seem to break free and fly through my body and lodge somewhere(embolus). when this happens i usually have a few minutes of dread that seem like an eternity.  this may or not be what is happening to you. if concerned, see more doctors to confirm. there are blood tests that can help determine if clotting is present.  also vitamin E might help and probably won't hurt.
