Is is possible to get a Class A Misdemeanor Expunged from a criminal record?

I just received a Class A misdemenor for controlled substance and I am in school to be a Respiratory Therapist. When I graduate in 2 years is it possible to have that dismissed from my record? I would hate to go to school for nothing.

If the conviction of a drug related offense stays on your record, you can forget any career dealing with medicine or respiratory therapist.

Since this is your future career, best advice would be to consult with an attorney and see what can be done to remove this from all public view. It will cost you, but it is your future at stake, so I definetely think it would be worthwhile to do.
