Is is possible to rent a wakeboard in North Carolina??

I'll be going to New Bern, NC for my spring break, and the people that I'm visiting have a boat, but no wakeboarding equipment. It'll be no problem for me to bring a wetsuit and other what-not along, but I didn't want to lugg a board along with me on the plane. Are there places within 2-3 hours of New Bern that would rent me one, or should I just plan on finding some kind of board-bag for the plane???

Yeah there are places to rent wakeboards there. It is the beach afterall. New Bern is small, but there are places close by that would have them. Try Wilmington if you can't find one in New Bern
