Is is sweet for a boy and savoury for a girl?

I now this is a myth but has this happend to you or is it the other way around?

I was told

sweet and/or fattening/unhealthy=boy

savoury and/or healthy=girl

However, I have 2 daughters (and am preg with 3rd child). During my 1st pregnancy I couldn't stomach anything greasy/fattening and lived on fruit, salads, lean meat, etc (preferred savory). With my 2nd, I lived on cherry ripes and wanted anything fatty/unhealthy.

I believe it's the other way around, or atleast it was with me. My daughter I craved Chocolate Chip Cookies. With my son I craved Chili. Lots and lots of chili.

I have been craving sweet stuff and meats with this pregnancy, its a girl, with my first which was a boy I craved pizza, chicken wings, saucy stuff.

With my daughter, just the thought of sweets turned my stomach. But, with this one (15 weeks pregnant), I can eat sweets. But I don't actually crave them.

My mom said that she craved chocolate doughnuts with both me and my brother.

I will be interested to see because I am 13 weeks and SUCH a savory junkie so far. Plain ripple chips, (sometimes with onion dip) herb and garlic cream cheese, pickles, pizza subs...bacon...Chinese food...anything high in salt. Chocolate or any other sweets turns my stomach, I haven't had any and haven't had the desire to have any. My husband will go out for ice cream but I never want any. A little brown haired girl has been popping up in my dreams, but who knows if that's true.

My best friend ate virtually nothing but popsicles for her first trimester and she has a beautiful teenage daughter. I guess that's why it's a wives tale. lol.
