Is it worth to go to six flags when it is partly cloudy with a 30% of sprinkles? why? and do you think it is going to rain with a 30% chance of rain?

  1. they keep as many rides open as they can and i have been on rides in the rain, the lines are better and they will basically only close rides with lighting or heaver rain

  2. yes. we went to cedar point when it was pouring heavy rain all day. around 4 pm it cleared up and the sun came out. so they reopened all the rides and coasters, even better the park was pretty much empty. so we were 5th and 6th in line to ride millennium force, no line whatsoever for raptor, and only waited 15 minutes for top thrill dragster. =D

  3. no

  4. no just go! even if it does rain it would be a light drizzle

  5. it's even nicer when it's like that because the lines are shorter. the lines at six flags (i've been to NJ, MD and NY) are soo long! the rides are worth it though = ]

but anyway, yes it's worth it! i went on a day like that and the lines were shorter, plus it's not as hot. most rides stay open in the rain unless it's pouring (for wooden coasters) or there is lightning. and even then you can still ride the carousel hahah.

and if they are calling for some rain, then it may... but they could be saying 30% because the rain looks scattered on the radar which means that it might break up over the park.

anyway, have fun if you go!

  6. yes i went when its was cloudy weather sprinkled alittle and it wasn't to bad with a good jacket

  7. To me, 30% chance of rain is hardly anything. It depends on what park you are going. It depends on what rides you want to ride. There are some rides like Deja Vu, Kingda Ka, and Two Face that won't operate in much of any rain. So, if you were going to SFGAdv, and want to ride Kingda Ka, I would pick a different day. If you don't care, I think you should go to the park.

However, 30% again is only 30% chance of rain. It's not 50, or 60%. If it rains though, please don't blame me.

  8. It's good because of the clouds because the lines are WAY too long and 90 degrees doesn't help. The rain could be a problem because on roller coasters you will get wet.

I would say no. Water and I don't go well together at high speeds.

  9. if it's cloudy, that's the perfect day to go, because you won't end up sweating to death getting sunburnt while standing in line. Also, most people won't go if there's a chance of rain, so the lines will be shorter. The rides stay open if it's sprinkling, they only shut down if there's heavy rain or lightning. I would go.
