  1. no not if you live in the USA.....

  2. Are muslims some sort of "other" kind of human?

If not, what prevents you from watching and reading such things?

If you're truly Muslim, all you need to do is follow the five pillars. Everything else is cultural practice, and not the ways of Islam.

Where in the Qur'an does it say watching a movie about a boy with magic powers is forbidden?

  3. your not suppose 2 beleive in magic!!!

watching moviez on the other hand is wrong!

but you can read the book

just make sure you sont beleive it

  4. No, of course not.

But, I have to ask, what is it with Muslims and Harry Potter? Every time I see a question in Ramadan about what books they like to like to read besides the Quran, they ALWAYS say Harry Potter! Especially the women. Is there something I'm not getting? What's the connection?

  5. muslims can read any book they want ... but some scenes in english movies are forbidden for muslims...

  6. no

  7. I did but I was christian then. Really it's just fantasy and as long as you are sane enough to determine fact from fiction I really see nothing wrong with it. Ever read Arabian Knights? It's all in good fun just dont be obsessive.

  8. How can reading be bad? By the way Raptor I think it is the robes that makes them like it.

  9. No! I think it is so retarded when people say they can't read a book cause of their religion. It is witch craft and wizardry which has nothing to do with religion. It is a great series. Just don't let them influence you!
