My fried does - but of course it is diluted with water.

He cleans bathrooms, kitchens, counters, walls, floors, etc.

How would I mix a water bottle with bleach and water? 1/2 and 1/2? Or less?

Is this OK?

Thanks!!!

  1. okay, during a bleach cleaning day, NEVER clean anything else that requires a different cleanser. Do that a couple of days apart. Yikes! He cleans EVERYTHING  with bleach? It is a harsh detergent, but does disinfect, and brighten quite thoroughly. It is not necessary to use bleach everywhere. Liquid Lysol is an excellent disinfectant, surface cleanser. It is easier to breathe around, too. Earth friendly cleanser is Liquid Orange, excellent disinfectant and surfaces cleanser, even sinks and tubs.

The exact ratio of bleach/water is:

    1 part to 10 example:

spray bottle 2 ounces of bleach. 20 ounces of water.

1 ounce bleach, 10 ounces water.

LABEL  spray bleach bottle with your favorite sharpie, please!!!

Floors with bucket and water 1 gallon, use 3/4 cup of bleach. Hope you know your surfaces. Bleach is not friendly to all surfaces.

I use all the above cleansers with confidence. Bleach is harsh on the environment and it does not have to be done more than once a month. Yes, it kills germs for up to one month. If you have a surface with mold, like a closet wall, you can spray the mold just to cover it and leave it there, do not wipe it away allow the bleach to remain. Mold will not ever come back! Lysol or Liquid Orange are excellent surface cleansers for kitchen counters and bathroom sinks and tubs. Sometimes, if there is alot of greasy film, I will drop a couple of drops of dawn or dish soap and spray with cleanser, even the bleach solution and that really breaks up the grease nicely. It is safe for ceramic stove tops, too.

  2. I use bleach to clean hard surfaces in my kitchen and bathroom including the floors, but would not recommend it for walls (unless tested in a small hidden area first) and not for floors anywhere else - and never on carpets.  I mix my bleach in a spray bottle (got mine cheap in the garden department) using about 1/4 to 1/2 cup bleach and the rest tap water.

  3. I'm a Bleach Fanatic! I love using Bleach with everything! I actually bleach my kitchen my walls, my floors, I have even bleaches my blue couches! Just be sure to open the house up lol ( i have been sick from smelling to much blech before lol) ALos do try a small amount on hidden parts of some things such as couches and carpets

  4. Noooooo, don't Do It, you will get Splashes of Bleach on All yer Clothes.

    Unless Ya do it Naked?????????????''''

  5. NOOOO!! if its a hard surface it should be ok, but if its like carpet or something like that, its a horrible idea, unless its white!
