Is it Best to Brush your Teeth in Cold, Warm, or Hot water?

I have always brushed my teeth in COLD water. But when I was brushing with my cuz the other day I saw she was brushing with HOT water. Which one is best: Cold, Hot, or Warm?

I have noticed that if you have a toothache that warmer water is better.

I even mix some hot water in with my mouthwash.  It is necessary to avoid temporary pain until you can get to the dentist appoitment,

In all honesty, it really just comes down to personal preference. When you wash your hands, however, it is best to use warm because it kills germs. When you brush your teeth, the germs are in your mouth, so the temp of the water doesnt matter.
