Is it Braxton hicks?

hi, i hav a friend, she is due in 2 days... she has been getting tightness, like when the baby moves but obviously the baby cant move that much.. it only happens for bout 5 secs and it happens at random times... is this BH if not what could it mean???

I personally think she might be starting labor as the days go by she will start having them regularly and with pain I hope this helps.

Braxton hicks but if she get's them more frequetly, or every 10 second  then she must know that labour is coming soon

I think she'll be going into labor pretty soon.

The same thing happened to me with my last birth. I had what my doctor told me was braxton hicks for about a week. It wasn't painful, it just felt like tightening or pressure on my abdomen and was pretty random.

That lead up to the day of my giving birth & I thought I was still having braxton hicks contractions.

Could be false labor, could be gas, upset stomach. Could be real contractions starting slowly. Tell her to watch for the mucus plug or any kind of bloody show, the cervix could be thinning in prep for labor.
