  1. My opinion from experience trying to ski and seeing others ski: yes.

  2. No, I wouldn't say it was hard ....... but it did take alot of practice and determination to do it ....... if you put your mind to it, you can learn too ....... = )

  3. It's not actually hard to do it, but its really hard to get up, because often your skis are too buoyant, and you can't get them under yourself.

    The other bad thing is that you have to pull yourself up, but that's not super hard.

    It's actually a pretty easy sports,  if you're thinking about trying it, just do it, you'll have a lot of fun.

  4. It depends... whether you're determined or not. Skiing is not hard but can be frustrating (or hard) if not taught properly.

    Find a good ski school with experience coaches... make sure they have proper size equipments for you and the right teaching tools.

    Getting out of the water is the first step, if you've never done water sports before but don't worry it's easy... you can even practice it at home;

    Sit on the floor, knees together and bring it close to you chest with your feet apart. Move your feet close to your bum. Wrap your hands around your knee. Got it? This is called a "deep-water start"position. It's the same thing when you're in the water with skis on.

    Next, straighten your arms (keep them outside your legs not inside) and have someone pull you. The idea is not to fight the pull but move your chest forward and you'll end up squatting, don't stand up yet.

    It has to be effortless both for you and the person who pulls you. Try it, and you'll know what I mean. You can actually pull someone twice your size with this method.

    While squatting, keep your arms straight (imagine you're holding the handle) and apply pressure on the ball of your feet. Remember, to keep your feet flat. Basically, you're out of the water, squatting on your skis. Next, is simply standing up, keeping equal balance on both legs and you're SKIING - you wanna get a good balance before standing up.
