Is it Harder for people under 21 to get a bartending job ?

In Austin Tx the min age to bartend is 18, do you think its harder for some one to get a job bartending under 21 or would it be equally the same. Also are more jobs put off if you went to bartending school or better if you went to school for it

if you are a good looking chick or guy you are more likely to get the job.  especially in a college town.  I bar tended when I was 18 I learned in a restaurant!  Chili's!!  Once you have experience and your TABC certified you can find a job easily.  But like they said, its def better to know someone!  It ain't what you know its who you know!

I imagine it would be pretty hard to get a job unless you knew the owner.
