Yes, everyone Knows about Gas Prices. But that's not what I'm here to talk about.

People have been losing there Jobs since 2005, and now More people than Ever are getting Laid-off, and losing there Jobs.

The Housing Market has not only Slowed down alot, but many Current Home Owners are losing there House, because of them Losing there Jobs.

Now that only scratches the Surface. Since the Morgages are getting Bankrubt, the Banks are now 'Bellying-Up', because these people are losing there House.

Now, this isn't happening to Everyone. But, am I the first person to Say that - I Think I Smell a Depression Possibly Coming in the Future?!?!?

Am I just Jumping to Conclusions, or is there a Real Situation, where this could Happen.

I have had a Very small prediction for the Past 5 years, that I could see a Depression coming in the future. It was like a Bad vision, or something. I didn't like it, but I forgot about it.

What are the Probabilities of such an Event Happening?!?

  1. No middle class, that's a result of the Bush admin I think...  we give more money to foreign oil companies than we do fighting the war. If we could keep the money in the US we could be doing a lot better, just more encouragement for people to go solar and to wind power. I have no idea about a depression but I know that would help fight it.

  2. if ridiculous fuel food and  generally everythings prices go up that means less of everything sells. and less money to sellers stockbrokers buissneses means economic damage. and someday it may lead to depression or worse governmental shutdown. it would be chaos not just a depression. only those indivisuals who are self sufficient will stay alive. the rich man will have no money to buy things to help himself because money will be worth nothing. there will be no rich or pore there will beonly those who know how to survive and those that cant

  3. As an Economist I can tell you our nation is in very deep trouble, lots of pain to come, we are going to pay the piper.

  4. I live in Michigan, which currently has the nations highest unemployment rate and one of the highest rates of forclosure. The problem we are facing is not due to political parties, it is that for too long our state has been too heavily invested into the auto industry. It's not our fault, for so many years  the auto industry spoiled us with amazing growth and profit, while as of late it has not. What other sector than auto manufacturing could some one come out of high school and get a $50,000 a year job, now a days that is cut into half. I do not believe the hype, we are not headed for the "next depression", we haven't even had negative GDP growth for a single quarter yet. In the words of the great FDR, " We have nothing to fear but fear itself.", and fear can do a lot of damage. The worst thing we can do as a nation is to stop spending. Please don't try to make this a political issue.

  5. idk but good point i recently heard that 150 banks have failed this year so idk. If a depression comes than dont worry you wont be the only one suffering. Your either rich or your poor there is no between.

  6. I asked a friend of mine who is 76 and another who is 82. They know about the Great Depression. They said this is not as bad as that was. But when I heard that there was a run on the bank in CA, let me tell you... I am very worried. There are houses all over town that are in foreclosure. This is what comes of having a Republican president.  But we are a strong people we will get through this. Obama is not the answer, he will not know what to do. He is no FDR. But Hillary Clinton would be.

    Pray and save your money.
