  1. a yummy type of ice cream

  2. I think they're both acceptable, but I would go with Neapolitan as the technically correct spelling.

  3. Hi,

I'm a reference librarian.  Hold a sec. while I look this up for you!  Be right back.....

    OK, both are correct:

Neapolitan: (adjective) of or relating to or characteristic of Naples or its people.

    and

Neopolitan:  (noun) (1.) a resident of Naples.  (2.) of ice cream, made in layers of different colours and flavours.

For more defintions (as many words have more than one defintion) see  http://www.onelook.com or http://dictionary.reference.com/

    Hope this helps,
