Is it Normal to have a mom that likes Anime?

My mom likes anime and i think that's wierd. I don't like anime, and my 42 year old mom likes it? My friends think thats very cool, but i think is stupid. Would you like to trade moms with me?

Some moms have hang-ups in life. They want to experience things which they haven't done/experienced when they were still young. If not some of them would like to adopt what teenagers are doing just to put their shoes into the situation.It's also nice that both have the same interests. Another reason is that some moms are artists and they love to draw anime characters because these are easy to trace.

I wouldn't really care to trade moms, but anime itself is never something someone is a fan of. Though they claim to be most are truly fans of animation itself. Anime is a popular form of such because the stories are typically more strung together and less slapstick and geared towards adults. In Japan animation is a huge thing amongst adults, I sell comic books to 30 and 40 year old's every Wednesday. It's just a hobby or a taste. Do you like football? Cars? Coffee? Are a smoker or not? It's all a matter of taste and opinion, I try to shove mine down other peoples throats usually, either way your mothers interest in animation, specifically anime isn't that uncommon.

Well I guess not many moms like anime.But it isn't THAT unusual  because some of moms like anime with dramas and all that stuff my mom watches drama/romance animes in free time (which I don't really like at all).No, I don't want to trade lol.
