Is it OK 2 wear HEELS to high school?

I want to get some cute shoes for high school butI don't know if I should get heels. Not really high heels. Is it normal for a girl 2 wear heels 2 high school?

I have before, for dressing up for sports/theater/etc. or just to look dressier.

I'd recommend more of a wedge than a heel: it will look more appropriate.

Yes, but not on the first day or in the first week, or else you'll just look like you're trying too hard.

I wear heels from time to time, but only on days when I don't need to climb stairs.

And if you wear them DO NOT complain about your feet hurting.

People will just look at you like an idiot.

i did my senior year, i didn't have to deal with P.E., and they were not tall, they had a cute square heel that didn't bother me when i walked down the hall.

I started wearing block heels in middle school and in high school I didn't wear them all the time but it's okay as long as it's cute/classy looking. I probably wouldn't wear pointy pumps but I would wear wedge and block heels or boots with heels. No one ever said anything about my shoes.

Yeah. If you wear heels dont dress like youre going clubbing thou! Also, dont complain when your feet start hurting. Ive worn heels to school plenty of times BUT I made sure they were comfortable and wouldnt cause me pain when I had to walk up and down the hallways and stairs.

I've always thought the same thing. My biggest worry is that I'll make so much noise walking down the hallways and people will look at me and think i'm a s**t or that i shouldnt be wearing them. so, I think that only grade 12'ers should wear them cause they're the oldest so we cant really judge them, you know??

But if they're like, a little heel then i dont see why not.

yh course bt dnt turn up in high stilletos that r more party s than casual.

make sure they work with the outfit, dnt complain bout achy feet.

n i think the easiest way to pull off heels is wedgies tht way its easier to walk in n ppl wnt think ure an idiot.

Of course but not for the first day or the first week. First because you never know when you have gym. Hey it might be on the first day and you forgot gym shoes. Probbly for the first day wear tennis shoes or if you really wanna look cute ballet flats.

You definately can. Wear 'em when you feel like it. Start out with some 2" or so. Have fun and express yourself.

At my school, some girls wear heels.

I think it's quite s**y.

Just get a black heel, not too high though.

Some girls feet get really messed up if they wear them too often though. Big red blotches on their feet is NOT attractive.

But don't complain about your feet hurting please.

I wore high heels(like a 2 inch heel) my sophomore year in high school, and I pulled it off really well with the cute outfits that I wore. It just depends on how you feel about it!
