Is it OK and safe to travel to Cancun during Labor day after Hurricane Dean?

I want to know if there was a lot of damage done to the area and if there are even letting tourist travel there.

Cancun is fine.  Most of the damage is south of there.

Please check with you travel agent.  From what I understand, there was allot of damage done to the Cancun area.  However, the resorts should be in decent shape because all the buildings are made out of brick to withstand hurricanes.  The only thing is that the resorts may not be as beutiful because trees may be down and flowers ruined.
