  1. I think the only time you can bring food into a restaurant is if you have food allergies. A  friend of my son's is gluten intolerant, which means NO FLOUR products, which eliminates just about every restaurant food since flour is used in breads, thickening of sauces, pasta, crackers, etc, so he is limited to plain baked chicken, pork, beef and fish, vegetables without sauces, and fruit. Very few restaurants offer this fare, so his mom brings him something in case there is nothing on the menu he can eat.

  2. I don't see anything wrong with it.

  3. I think that it's fine as long as you do buy something from them

  4. I know it's wrong, but I would like to do it.

But the coffee shop wants you to buy their $5  1/2 sandwiches.

  5. absolutley , they have no right to kick you out for you drinking a purchased coffe from them and eating a homemade sandwhich , it actually makes them feel quaint and nice that people enjoy there cafe  or resturant ect. so no prob . i always get a ice-blended frappuchino and a subway sandwhich along with it or a home-made sandwhich and sit in there cafe whith a magazine when ever i have my lunch break , all the time !

  6. it's not only bad form, it violates health department regulations.

  7. Don't do it. It's rude, especially if the coffee shop offers food.

  8. No, that's tacky.

  9. no it's not they sell food ...................buy a take out coffee and have them somewhere else ...............

  10. No, it's not OK.  Coffee shops sell their own food in most cases. Bringing in outside food looks bad.
