Is it OK to do interval running every day?

I have heard that even paced runs cause your body to burn muscle in the long run, and interval runs cause your body to burn fat in the long run. Is there any harm in only running intervals everyday if you prefer running as your everyday workout?

  1. It's best not to do any kind of exercise every day.  It may cause muscle aches and pains.  I would suggest only doing interval running 3-5 times a week.  It's important to give your body time to recover in between workouts.  Hope this helps! :)

I wouldn't recommend running intervals everyday.  Although intervals keeps your body guessing so will longer slower runs some days as well as faster shorter runs other days.  Intervals are great to burn fat but a bit taxing on your muscles too and you will need to recover from intervals so that your body isn't over-trained.
