Is it OK to freeze Filipino "kakanin"? ?

kakanin - like biko, p**o, bibingka, etc.

or just put them in fridge?

No.. Just put them in the refrigerator if you are not planning to eat it in the next few days.. Just leave them in a room temperature if you will eat it within the same day or the next day..

The reason is because the texture will change and heating them up would change their flavor except for biko..

putting them in the fridge would make it stiff,really stiff. better leave it at room temperature only.

i do that when i want to keep it for about 4 months before consuming it.Putting it just in the cooler would only lasts about 2 weeks at the most.

do not refrigerate!  leave it at room temperature.  eat it until it grows hair and turns green, then give it to the pig.
