Question:

Is it OK to freeze lamb kidneys?

I love lamb kidneys but they are hard to find so when they're available, I tend to buy enough for 2 weeks. Obviously, I can't eat them all at once so was wondering whether they can be frozen to retain their delicious flavour and nutritional value. Any help appreciated.

  1. Yep.. it is meat!

  2. Well I'm sure you could .... but why would you want to? Lol, sorry, I couldn't resist. But yeah, I dunno. If you have a way of vacuum-sealing them first, that would probably be the best way to keep the flavor in.  I know meat does have a tendency to lose a lot of flavor in the freezing/thawing process.

  3. No, it is not OK to freeze lamb kidneys, because to do so you must kill a lamb. Do you think you could? If so what does that make you? A beast? Yes. A beast.
