Is it OK to hide your identity when you're making a website?

I'm trying to make a website, but I'm concerned about my name. I was thinking of putting in a nickname instead of my real name, but I'm afraid I might be using that name a lot, and not my real name. But if I put in my real name down, I'm afraid that my real name goes along with my personal information.

  1. I think it should and anyway, what are they going to do if it isn't?

  2. i think so

  3. Hey, Peapod Kingdom, you got a nice nick!!

Why not use that one for making the website...

You can always attach your email adress to the nick...so if ppl want to hire you for building another site, they can reach you without knowing your real name in 1st instance..
