I'm limited on space in my apartment and my stereo speakers are kind of strangely shaped...I can stack them if I turn the one upside down and then I can put the stereo on top of the speakers and kind of build a tower. Is that going to damage anything?

  1. Turning your speakers upside down won't hurt anything. If they're right next to each other you won't get stereo sound though. You can put you stereo on top of it without hurting anything too. Just don't put anything on it that requires magnetic storage like a hard drive or computer. If they're powerful speakers don't stick them next to the TV.

  2. it ok as long as you dont plug it in....

  3. Turning the speakers upside down wont do any physical damage but you sure will affect the sound. The tweeters wont sound right being so close to the floor and you probably will loose some base.

If your talking about putting the receiver directly on top of the speakers, DON'T, the vibrations will eventually cause damage.

You can do some sort of arraignment  like that if you make a shelf over the speakers to keep the receiver from direct contact.
