Is it OK to use dog shampoo on Human hair? ?

To get it out there- I don't use dog shampoo, but when I wash my crazy dog, plenty of his shampoo gets on me and in my hair (he's a big dog). There won't be a problem, right?

It's not recommended to USE dog shampoo on human hair.

BUT

That's not what your paragraph says.  If your large breed dog shares it's shampoo with you (hehehe), don't worry.  It won't harm your hair or skin.  But don't purposely use it to shampoo as it's not geared to give human hair the best treatment. -!-

it shouldnt be a problem unless your allergic to it...which since you use it on him i guess your not allergic

it should be fine- in fact some people use horse shampoo-on puppose

why not

they sell a horse shampoo that has been selling for many years for people.  they say it makes your hair grow faster and shinnier

I've used it to wash my own hair on the rare occasion that I've run out of shampoo and had nothing else to use.  Hair is not living tissue, it's made out of the same thing as fingernails, so getting a little lather rubbed off on the ends of your hair isn't going to do anything.  Just rinse it off.  There are FAR worse things that people get in their hair all the time.

Not a problem unless you have an allergy against it.

It's been designed in the full knowledge that the human doing the scrubbing will get the stuff on them too. Yes it's fine for your dog, fine for you. Just rinse it off like you would normal shampoo.
