Hi ,

I am running an e-commerce operation . I wanted to know if its a common convention to use the "+" sign in Germany. Like "19 Euros + 5 Euro shipping" or does it make more sense to have "19 Euros plus 5 Euro shipping" or "19 Euros und 5 Euro shipping"

  1. I would say "+" is ok, but not common. You shouldn't use "plus" as a word.

If it's just a line for example at the bottom of a product page then "zzgl. 5 EUR Versandkosten" will be best. "Zzgl." is the very well known abbreviation for "zuzüglich" (= plus/additionally).
