Is it OK to wear contacts for over 12 hours during the day?

They're corrective contacts, soft, and non-disposable. I can only wear them during the day.

Honestly this question is totally subjective as it depends on the particular person's endurance of contact irritation.if you have been wearing your contacts for a substantial period of time like two-three weeks of longer and for several hours each time i suppose you will be OK wearing them for 12 hours

This really depends on your eyes. If they are still comfortable and your vision is still clear, 12 + hours is pretty normal for contact lens wearers. Listen to your eyes, they will tell you if it's okay. Don't sleep in them and give your eyes a break, wear your glasses one day a week.

i think you'll be fine..

i wear mine all day.

i have focus dailies..one day soft lense contacts..

and i take them off before i go to bed..(at like 4am haha)

but just keep then hydrated withh eye drops!

yeahh i do the same,just take them out when and if they start hurting

This really depends on your eyes.  I can wear mine between 12 to 16 hours per day, but I know some people who can only wear them between 6 to 8 hours or less.
