  1. Have you in formed the police and DVLA of you stolen number plates,if both have been taken then you can bet that your plates will be used on stolen vehicle, for what ever reason.

Yes then number plates are your responsibility, and the design, any thing other than the bog standard plate is illegal.

where you get then from is up to you. its you who is libale if there illegal.

but i would recommend you did in form the police and Dvla.

    good luck

  2. its only about £15.00 to buy new ones from most car acc. shops ! you are right about halfords though , a complete bunch of tossers.

  3. If you have not already done so Suggest you notify police and DVLA.

Ask the DVLA about where you can purchase new plates and what is the legal requirement ref log book notifying the authorities etc.

No need to visit the link you provide.

  4. its illegal to have plates made without seeing the log book, and all licenced plate makers have to put their registration certificate info on the plate.

these plate will not be licenced and also they offer many ILLEGAL types.

Please see the disclaimer in the T&C where tehy state that these plates should NOT be used on the road and if you do its your comeback noth theirs!

DO NOT RISK THIS. Got to Halfords it will be cheaper than A £1000 fine for using these on the road!

  5. If you don't like Halfords there should be plenty of other local places that can make them up for you, check your yellow pages or Thompson Local.

Show plates do not comply with the legal requirements. Your car will fail its MOT and you face a fixed penalty or summons and fine every time it is seen on the road.

    Yes it is your responsibility.

You should also report the theft of your plates in case they are used in a crime.
