Is it Ok to have a slightly lower Ghz than the gaming system requirements?

i have a

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor

3000+

1.81 GHz, 1.00 GB of RAM

Physical address exstention

And the game is:

2.0 GHz P4 processor or eq., 512 MB RAM (768 for Vista), 128 MB video card (Pixel Shader 2.0 support), 6 GB HDD. Internet connection.

Would my computer support this game?

  1. it shouldn't be a problem bro your s***s time all you gotta do is over clock your CPU download " warpspeed " to do so if you're a beginner  


  2. Honestly, you'll probably be fine.  The issue of memory is more important than processor speed.  It may be a little bit slow but the difference between 1.8 and 2.0 when it comes to processors is pretty insubstantial.  

  3. You can but the game might lag. The worst case is that the game will not let you install b/c you do not have the specification. But most likely the game will be slow at points.

  4. No, it will not. The minimum requirements on the game are basically what is needed to run the game at the lowest possible resolution with only the most basic graphics. Your computer must meet or exceed the minimum requirements in order to play it.

    Overclocking the CPU is not recommended because it can cause massive overheating and motherboard damage.
