Is it Possible for a U.S. citizen to Enlist in the British Armed Forces.?

Hello. I used to live in England, but I have been a U.S. Citizen all of my life. I am curious if it is possible for me to enlist in the British Military. What would I have to do to be able to do this?

  1. You would have to become a citizen of england, and you should be good, But if you were in the military here you have to get permission from our government.  


  2. US Citizens cannot legally join the military of a foreign nation

  3. The British do take foreigners, but you could lose your US citizenship if you join. Only countries military that a US citizen can join legally is Israel.

  4. No, you have to be a citizen of Britian, which means you give up your citizenship to the US.
