Is it Practical for me to Become a Fighter Pilot?

Ok I am going into my sophomore year after this summer, and I would do anything to become a fighter pilot. I just can't see myself in a b I go to every day and do the same thing. So I am 6 foot, ok physical shape (working on it every day just started trying to get into top shape I know I have to). Only thing that is holding me back is my eye sight. I do need contacts, but reading up on the USAFA and some other sites you can qualify as potential pilot and they will send you to get PRK, is that possible for me? Also I have migraines, but they are not just random, they are more of a food allergy as long as I don’t eat any MSG, and some other preservatives I am completely fine. I plan on joining civil air patrol. I play lacrosse. I am a good student. I am working on getting my pilots license. And I am going to a new school this year so ill have to see what clubs I want to join.

So what are my chances of getting into USAFA and being pilot? what are things that would help me get this?

  1. Have you taken the ASVAB? You'll have to score high on that. I don't know how it correlates to your grades, but i was an honor student and scored really well on the asvab. Have you taken any flight lessons. You might want to beg your parents for flight school. That always looks good, and call a recruiter ask them what you would need. They will know better than anyone. They also will lie to you...lol so becareful.

Tell them you are serious about being a pilot, and ask what the requirements are. As long as your not color blind you should be good. Oh and heres a test my friend sent me, she's in the USAF...
